Sophia Davis, LL.B, LL.M – Founding Lawyer
Sophia Davis is the founding lawyer at Claresmont law and her practice is focused on human rights and immigration law. Sophia holds an LL.B and an LL.M degree and has completed her law studies at Osgoode Hall Law School and University of Montreal. Having worked in the private and public sectors, she has gained a wealth of experience and expertise that she implements in her practice.
Sophia values diversity and believes that diversity and immigration are our driving force in Canada. Moreover, Sophia has experience working in multicultural and diverse settings across Europe and North America, which has helped her become familiar with different cultures and gain an in-depth knowledge of working with and understanding clients from different backgrounds. These valuable factors have contributed to the success of her legal practice in immigration law and help create professional relationships based on trust, care and understanding between her and her clients.
Sophia is bilingual in English and French languages and her extensive education in law complements her experience as a lawyer. In her practice she makes sure that her clients are treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism. Sophia is committed to her clients and defends their rights with fierce advocacy.

Sean Davis, Managing Director
Sean is a licensed Civil and Infrastructure Engineer and manages the firm’s operations and finances. He also manages investments for our clients who Immigrate to Canada under the Investor Class.
Sean has extensive experience in legal matters. He specializes in Real Estate investments and Asset Management across Canada and the United States and has been responsible for multi-billion dollar budgets for public and private sector clients and companies.
Dan Loyd, Executive Director
Dan is a Telecommunications Engineer and a Data Scientist. He has worked for some of the biggest Tech Companies and Banks in Canada. Dan has managed large-scale technology projects and has contributed to the business development of the firms he has worked for.
As Executive Director and Business Development manager, Dan manages our business relations and development.
Sherry Stay, Executive Director
Sherry has extensive experience in management and client relations. She thus, understands that law can be intimidating and complicated to navigate, and she is here to put your mind at ease by getting you started with obtaining professional legal assistance and making sure the whole admin process goes as smoothly as possible.
